Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions — Studio28 Tattoo
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and your engagement of tattoo, piercing, and related services from Studio28, 20 Maindee Road, Cwmfelinfach, Blackwood, Caerphilly, NP11 7HQ.
Age and ID requirements
All tattoo and piercing procedures are restricted to clients aged 18 and over, in line with UK law and Wales' special procedures licensing scheme. Valid photo ID is required at every appointment. No exceptions are made, including with parental consent.
Consultations and bookings
Consultations are free and non-binding. All tattoo and piercing appointments require an £80 deposit to secure the booking, which comes off your final price. Full cancellation, rescheduling, and deposit terms are set out on our FAQ page.
Health and consent
Before any procedure, clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, or pregnancy, and complete a consent form. We reserve the right to refuse or postpone a procedure on health or safety grounds, including if a client appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Right to refuse service
Studio28 reserves the right to decline any booking or design at our discretion — including designs we consider offensive, unsafe, or outside what we're able to deliver.
Design ownership and portfolio use
Custom designs created by our artists remain the intellectual property of Studio28 and the artist. Designs may not be reproduced, resold, or tattooed elsewhere without permission. We may photograph finished work for our portfolio and marketing (including this website and social media) — let us know before your appointment if you'd prefer to opt out.
Aftercare
Clients are responsible for following the aftercare guidance provided after their procedure. Studio28 is not liable for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions.
Website use
All content, images, and branding on this website belong to Studio28 unless otherwise credited, and may not be reproduced without permission. This website is provided "as is"; while we try to keep information accurate and up to date, we don't guarantee it's error-free.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
